Talent Acquisition Coordinator

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator assists the Museum's staff recruitment efforts by processing requisition requests, posting positions, reviewing and selecting resumes, phone-screening candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews, updating and maintaining records, and other recruitment activities. The position is also responsible for maintaining our applicant tracking system database, paper requisition files, and assisting the Manager, Talent Acquisition & Development with bi-annual Affirmative Action reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will also support the Manager and the Museum's outreach efforts by researching and liaising with local colleges, job fairs, and/or community organizations to promote the Museum and its opportunities.


  • Assist filling ~200 staff positions per year
  • Perform 10-15 phone screens per week
  • Track expenses for ~$25,000 budget
  • Support outreach efforts by liaising with ~30 organizations across the greater Boston area and attending 5-10 outreach events per year
  • Help administer and submit bi-annual Affirmative Action reports


This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.


Manager, Talent Acquisition & Development


  • Post high school course work, technical degree, associate's degree or business certificate.
  • 1 or more years administrative experience.
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Proven communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven database experience.


Non-Exempt (Hourly). Commensurate with experience.
