SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Technology Director will be responsible for collaboratively crafting a technology road map, building a business solutions architecture, and developing systems supporting new digital educational experience creation. This role will quickly analyze the current state of the organization, understand the critical business processes ripe for optimization and get hands-on delivering iterative improvements that drive success.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage 4-6 vendors with contracts totaling over $100,000
  • Technology infrastructure and platform management for $9M organization
  • Supervise team of 1-2 people
  • Lead cross functional teams across divisions
  • Manage a CRM containing over 100,000 customers
  • Build, buy or partner with technology platform companies to support a national learning platform for multiple curricula


WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.


REPORTS TO:

Executive Director of Curriculum Sales


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Science or Arts degree.
  • 5 or more years of Educational Technology, Start-Ups, Computer Science experience.
  • Experience delivering educational technology programs in the K-12 space
  • Experience defining, designing, and implementing business systems
  • Ability to analyze and create cross platform architectures
  • Experience with Rubyrails, HTML5, Javascript and/or other programming languages


STARTING SALARY:

Exempt (Salaried). Commensurate with experience.
