SUMMARY STATEMENT:

The Digital Marketing Program Manager, Curriculum is responsible for managing lead generation efforts primarily through digital channels, including website/SEO, paid search, display, social media and e-mail marketing for the Museum's K-12 curriculum portfolio. You will execute the web strategy, site optimization with the goal of driving traffic, delivering engaging experiences to customers and prospects, and generating quality leads from these interactions. The Digital Marketing Manager will use customer data and web traffic metrics to create, deploy, track, and measure digital strategies to achieve our growth goals.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Execute digital marketing strategies for MOS K-12 curriculum portfolio and/or educational materials, including a minimum of 8 engineering and math curriculum products (EiE: 3 in school and 2 after/camp programs, 2 Middle, and 1 High School) and 1 new computational thinking/computer science curriculum product in development.
  • Support year over year lead generation and awareness goals for curriculum and educational products.
  • Manage eie.org and mos.org/curriculum website/landing pages and at least 6 social media platforms (2 Twitter accounts, Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, Youtube).
  • Craft content to support 5-7 integrated campaigns/year and monthly prospect and customer communications.
  • Collaborate with minimum of 3 internal Museum of Science departments to ensure execution of strategy.
  • Develop monthly campaign reports highlighting lead generation activities, effectiveness, and ROI.
  • Oversee 1-2 interns a year.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with 2 agencies (website and marketing automation).
  • Identify additional tools, technologies and partnerships that can aid customer acquisition efforts with a goal of bringing 4+ solutions to the team per year, delivered quarterly.


WORK SCHEDULE:

This position is full-time. 40hrs/wk, Monday-Friday


REPORTS TO:

Director, Curriculum Marketing


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors of Science or Arts degree.
  • 5 or more years of digital marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining working relationship with internal business units such as curriculum development, IT, and operational management.
  • Proven verbal and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of campaign execution fundamentals and the ability to serve as central point of contact for agency activities.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, develop work plans and timelines, and be organized.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret marketing, consumer and competitive data, both quantitative and qualitative using website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Proven experience with marketing automation systems, customer segmentation, and personalization strategies (e.g. HubSpot, Marketo, SalesForce)
  • Previous experience with development of SEO, content categorization / structure, and content development, distribution and measurement


STARTING SALARY:

Exempt (Salaried).
