Innovation and creativity come from the unique perspectives of a diverse staff. We value your perspective.

THE CLUBHOUSE NETWORK:

The Clubhouse Network -- a global non-profit founded 25 years ago in collaboration with the MIT Media Lab -- is an international community of 100 Clubhouses in 19 countries where young people from underserved communities work with adult mentors to explore their own ideas, develop new skills, and build confidence in themselves through the use of technology. The Clubhouse Network and its "flagship" Clubhouse support community-based Clubhouses around the world by providing start-up support, professional development, new technology innovations, evaluation and assessment, partnership opportunities, and access to an online community for youth, mentors, and staff.

The Clubhouse Network and its "flagship" Clubhouse have been based at the Museum of Science for the past 16 years. TCN is establishing an independent 501-c-3 and in early 2018 is relocating, in all likelihood to Dudley Square in the heart of Roxbury. While the Museum has been an excellent home, this move places the Clubhouse closer to the youth and families it serves, and to potential partnerships in the Roxbury community.

The Clubhouse Network Finance & Operations Manager position is an exciting opportunity for an individual interested in helping to shape the future of this award-winning organization. With long-term funding from Best Buy, the U.S. Department of Justice, and many others committed to the Clubhouse's mission, the Clubhouse Network is well-positioned for the next decade and beyond. At the same time, it is at an exciting crossroads as it celebrates its 25th anniversary in a new home.

Employment initially will be through the Museum of Science; once the organizational transition is complete (expected January or February 2018), employment will transfer to The Clubhouse Network, Inc. Benefits (health insurance, retirement plans, etc.) are expected to be commensurate between the two organizations.
