The Museum of Science, Boston seeks an accomplished, ambitious, and mission focused leader to serve in the critically important role of the Chief People Officer (CPO). The Chief People Officer will have museum-wide responsibility for providing comprehensive human resources services, expertise in organizational development and culture change and applying best practices. Reporting to the President, the Chief People Officer directs the strategic and operational decision-making in the planning, development and implementation of meaningful and measurable human resource programs and services.

The Chief People Officer will demonstrate the values of the Museum through their leadership, collaborations, and partnerships that creates organizational engagement in support of the Museum's vision as a community-centered institution. As a member of the President's Senior Leadership Team, the CPO will play a key role in continuing, developing, and implementing strategies that advance the Museum's efforts to be a high-performance organization that is fueled by a skilled, engaged, diverse workforce, with a vibrant, community centered, and inclusive culture.
