Professional Development Manager (West Coast)

This position is part of a dynamic, creative team that creates and delivers best of class professional development for a national elementary engineering curriculum. This position is a blend of development of new workshops, activities, and resources for education professionals and professional development delivery. This position will also work within a team to hone pedagogy and delivery skills for a growing set of professional development offerings.


  • Deliver, a minimum of, 3-4 professional development workshops per month both locally and nationally
  • Develop or revise 4-6 direct service programs/resources yearly to remain relevant to our educational audience
  • Travel requirement for this position is on average 40% of the time


This position is full-time, 40hrs/wk, Monday-Friday


Director, Operations and Professional Development


  • Bachelors of Science or Arts degree
  • 3 or more years of teaching and/or delivering professional development workshops experience
  • Demonstrated ability to design and deliver meaningful professional development experiences for teachers
  • Deep understanding of the P-12 school environment, curricular needs, and the needs of teachers, administrators, and coaches
  • Experience delivering high-quality presentations
  • Demonstrated attention to detail
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral
