Associate Director of Curriculum Marketing

The Associate Director, Curriculum Marketing will lead marketing and communications programs that promote awareness, foster adoption and support revenue goals for the Museum's preK–8 STEM curriculum portfolio. Working in close collaboration with the Executive Director, curriculum sales team, curriculum development team, professional development teams, and cross-Museum teams, this role will drive revenue growth and brand awareness by fusing the voice of the customer, sales and product development in all curriculum marketing activities. This position will also work in close collaboration with the SVP, Marketing Strategy and Communications


  • Oversee marketing development and execution for preK-8 curriculum products, including 7-9 engineering curriculum products.
  • Meet specific year-over-year growth goals for curriculum and educational products
  • Oversee the work of 3-5 direct reports.
  • Attend minimum of 3 national meetings/conferences/trade shows to promote MOS curriculum products
  • Lead the development and activation for 3-4 campaigns per year (direct, exhibits, events)
  • Lead the development of 6-8 collateral pieces per year
  • Oversee the management of for 7-9 curriculum sections.
  • Oversee 2-3 curriculum/NCTL sections within
  • Oversee monthly blog / e-news entries, public relations advisories and press releases


This position is full-time, 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday.


Executive Director, STEM Education and Senior Vice President, Marketing Strategy & Communications


  • Bachelor of Science or Arts
  • 5 or more years of marketing experience in the PreK-12 education space.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience marketing to PreK-8 formal educational environments
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing integrated marketing plans for educational products within complex, matrixed organizations
  • Experience managing teams and budgets
  • Experience driving revenue through increasing brand awareness


Exempt (Salaried). Commensurate with experience.
